The Bromley District in Papua New Guinea marked a significant moment of progress and community development with the grand opening of its district center on 24 August 2024. The celebration included the inauguration of the district superintendent’s house, a duplex staff house for Tsingoropa Nazarene Primary School, and three health center buildings featuring an inpatient wing, an outpatient wing, and a staff house.
A group of women from churches on the Jiwaka North District of Papua New Guinea brought a food harvest to bless the missionaries at Nazarene General Hospital. The overabundance of food was shared with a nearby orphanage that was in need of food.

Daryl Arthur Schendel Sr., 84, passed away in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, on 12 June 2021. He was a missionary to Papua New Guinea with his wife, Elizabeth, for more than 15 years.
