Duane David Baty, 69, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away from glioblastoma on 16 October 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was a retired missionary and minister who served in the Philippines and Cambodia for 25 years.
More than 60 missionaries and their families serving on the Mesoamerican Region gathered in Panama for a retreat titled “Pure in Heart,” held 26-29 September. During the retreat, the missionaries enjoyed praise and worship, sermons from God’s Word, training, fellowship, and rest.

Allen Wilson, 94, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away 1 August 2024. He was a missionary who served for 37 years across the Mesoamerica and South America regions in Guatemala, El Salvador, Colombia, and as the district superintendent of Costa Rica.
