In 2021, Equatorial Guinea and Seminario Teológico Nazareno Cono Sur announced a historic borderless education agreement. In March, the first fruits of the seeds planted by this partnership were harvested, with nine clergy graduating, five of whom were ordained.
Mario and Irma Martinez helped establish the principles of the Church of the Nazarene when starting the work of the church there. As they have moved along in the missions work, the torch is being carried by the leadership that they raised up.
Mario and Irma Martinez had been faithfully serving the Lord for many years in Argentina when they began to feel restless. They accepted the Lord’s call on their life and established the Church of the Nazarene in Equatorial Guinea.
