Eduardo “Eddie” Jiménez was appointed superintendent of the Texas-Oklahoma Latin District. He currently serves as pastor of the San Antonio Las Palmas Church of the Nazarene.

Jiménez follows Ernest Treviño, who passed away unexpectedly 12 April 2025. Jiménez’ appointment is effective 15 May 2025.

“In recent days the district family has gone through very difficult times, but God has strengthened and comforted our hearts,” Jiménez said. “We feel very honored to serve through the superintendency. A new stage begins and we take it as a privilege and a great responsibility. Our prayer is to be a blessing and together be instruments for the glory of God and the advancement of his Kingdom.”

Jiménez has pastored the Las Palmas church since 2017. He holds a certificate in youth ministry from Nazarene Seminary of the America and a bachelor’s degree in theology from Seminario Nazareno Mexicano.

He and his wife, Fabiola, reside in San Antonio, Texas.
