The Timothy Award
The Timothy Award was established in 1995 by the Nazarene Youth International General Council to recognize — in a tangible way — outstanding service, sacrifice, and personal commitment to youth through NYI. Recipients of the Timothy embody the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 2:20, “I have no one else like [Timothy], who takes a genuine interest in your welfare” (NIV).
Funds received for the payment of the Timothy Award over and above the cost of the award become a vehicle for the development of youth ministry around the world through the NYI Fund. This fund was established to provide a financial resource base from which global youth leadership training, youth evangelism, and resource development can be built.

Anyone who has shown outstanding service to youth and youth ministry may receive the Timothy Award.

How much does the Timothy Award cost?
For orders from the USA/Canada region, the purchase price for a Timothy Award trophy is $225 USD, and for a Timothy Award certificate – $125 USD. The purchase parity price for orders from Africa, Asia-Pacific, Eurasia, Mesoamerica, and South America regions is $150 USD for a Timothy Award trophy and $75 USD for a Timothy Award certificate. Funds received for the payment of the Timothy Award over and above the cost of the award go into the Timothy Award Fund for the support of youth ministry around the world.

When should I submit my order?
In order to allow sufficient time for processing and shipping, orders from the USA/Canada region should be submitted and paid for at least thirty (30) days prior to the presentation date and orders from the Africa, Asia-Pacific, Eurasia, Mesoamerica, and South America regions should be submitted and paid for at least sixty (60) days prior to the presentation date. If your order is submitted later, it might not arrive in time.
